I'm not going to tell you what you have because I don't know, I cannot put my finger on it, can not even put into coherent words, my thoughts strung together in lucid dream state, a dim awareness of something massive right behind, just around the corner, but YOU, sir or madam, do indeed have that special something. (I'm paraphrasing this jam)

so my microphone was crappin out on me and i was dorkin around on it, and just decided to do some vocals over top of that sweet lil jam all by myself. I did not get very much feedback from anyone but I am still really into it and listen often to get into that particular free space. There's no way I can ever finish this. Or repeat that vibe. Also I hate that I was snapping my fingers like an Idiot. I have no way to take the snapping out. That was so dumb. Somebody should take it and make it really pretty. You welcome to it. Figure out the mumbling or just trade it out, with other gibberish or real words, i don't mind. Just glad to get it Offa my chests.

These lyrics printed are the final version. You can perhaps understand the lyrics process for me. Had to move things and Tighten Uppppp. Guessing Game: Everything has to be a guessing game why can't you just speak plainly? Everything has to be black or white maybe it's wrong, maybe it's right I won't play your guessing game Everything has to be written on the wall in letters that are ten feet tall. Everything has to be spelled out twice White as snow, black as night I won't play your guessing game You say maybe I say "no maybes" I gotta know I won't play our guessing game

about

Dumb old sound clouded out is almost all of the songs and snippets I used to have up there a long time ago. These songs are between 2 to 5 and 1/2 years old. Since that site changed so much, I cannot even go on there to see my own songs. Anyway, I forgot my password. And changed my email too, oops. Plus my one friend said that you have to sign up and get the app and that is a total hassle, I know it.

Eh, So I found the songs on my phone & computer all over the place; and Nate helped me figure That out, and now I'm putting them on band camp heh heh. For my bffs and true fanz xoxo if you are not already my fan, this will probably put you offa me. But if you thought I had quit, dropped off the earth, or took a break, here is the proof that I never did stop. Sure it is crappy. Sure none of it is radio-friendly; there are unfinished lyrics, I do not even know what I was doing, but I like it. There are major mess-ups and melodies that "make no sense" ( a thing I am okay living with, thank you) But I made it mostly by myself (Nate helped me a lot with percussion)

Enclosed in this "album" is an assortment of recordings off my phone, some songs using the home mini mixer set upon a milk-crate in the corner of a carpeted room. There is a dullness that you just have to try to ignore. I got them situated via garageband, and some recorded on my pink Boss Looper pedal and then popped over to Garageband as one track = so sadly, I was not up to the task of remixing. The drums are not loud enough. There are annoying parts that have me snapping overtop like an idiot and ruining the song. Sometimes, rather often, I hit some painful notes. Oh well. This aint perfect. No-buddy expects it to be. Soundcloud was supposed to be a place where I could share song ideas and get feedback, tips, and mostly, I wanted encouragement. Please do not be disappointed. Keep thy expectations low to the ground. And i will, too ;D

p.s. You are gonna need to turn your volume up or turn it down, each track. I don't want to waste my husbin valuable time by asking him to try to untangle and master all these free songs. Garageband (old version) did an okay job of mastering it automatically when converting to aif. That's all I know.

oh yeah, p.s.s. There are some covers, bits, and interpretation-type situations. But just at the end, therefore hopefully harmless. xoxo rp
